"Seishin" is roughly translated as meaning "sincere heart". The Chinese character "sei", means sincerity, fidelity and truth. While the Chinese character "shin", means mind, heart, core, and soul. "Seishin" is identical to the Shinto virtue " makoto no kokoro" Therefore, "seishin", means that one's actions must be sincere and one's motivation must be pure.The emphasis of our training is not to be a better fighter - but to be a better person.

Stuart Campbell has been studying martial arts for over 35 years. He is a licensed Bujinkan Shodoshi (Teacher) under Masaaki Hatsumi and travels to Japan when possible to train with his teacher. He has studied various martial systems throughout his life;

The emphasis of the training is on development of the self through the Martial Arts of the Bujinkan Dojo.
